If your honey has crystallized, that is a good thing. Crystallization is the natural state of pure, raw honey — it is what happens when real honey is left unheated and unprocessed. Our crystallized Karoo honey is exactly that: genuine, raw, and alive with the character of the Karoo landscape.

Harvested from hives on our olive grove in Aberdeen, single-filtered and never heated, this honey sets into a smooth, spreadable texture with a rich, full flavour that melts beautifully on warm toast or straight off the spoon.

To return it to a liquid, simply place the jar in warm water — never boil or microwave, as heat destroys the natural enzymes that make raw honey so good.

This is honey as it should be.

Serving suggestions:
Spread thickly on warm toast, scones or crumpets, serve alongside a cheese board, stir into warm (not hot) tea, or use as a glaze for roasted vegetables or meats.
